art movement. Downtown LA is home to the gritty world of Lowbrow,
wherein artists use a satirical sense of humor to display the coping
mechanisms of war, downward economy and personal psychology. This
unique art form tends to use common mediums ranging from whimsical
cartoons to taxidermy sculptures and splattered graffiti. Two worlds
collide as the dark underbelly of today’s reality slices through the
smiles to reveal the mixture of modern surrealism, evoking emotions
